OUR POLICIES

Our recommendations on plant selections and plant care are based on years of houseplant experience; however, we cannot guarantee your plants success due to reasons beyond our control. Along with environmental factors and human error, plants are living beings that can experience inexplicable problems. We will always do our best to identify pest and disease issues, and assist you with light and water adjustments. Contact us for further instruction if your plant seems unhappy.

  • Plant Returns: We accept returns for plants 48 hours after purchase. We are unable to accept plant returns outside of this window due to the unknown environment the plant may have been exposed to after leaving our shop. If you are experiencing an issue with a newly purchased plant, please contact us so we can help you trouble shoot and get you back on the right path!

    Hard Goods: We accept returns on hard goods 1 month after purchase, in its original condition.

    Gift Returns: If you received a plant as a gift from Botany Houseplant Shop, we will honor an exchange within 7 days of original purchase, provided the plant has been properly cared for and is in good health. We accept returns on hard goods 30 days after purchase, in its original condition. 

    Large plant policy: If a plant valued $250 or greater, declines beyond reason or perishes within 90 days of purchase and proper care was given, Botany Houseplant Shop will provide a 30% discount on a plant to replace the failed plant.

  • Complimentary Repotting: We offer complimentary repotting when a customer purchases both the pot and plant from us. We will continue to re-pot a plant without charge into any pot that was purchased at Botany Houseplant Shop for the life of the plant.

    Repotting if it’s NOT our plant/pot: If you bring in your own plant or pot, not purchased from us, there is a repotting service fee. The fee depends on the size of the pot your plant is planted into.

    • $2 for anything under 4” diameter.

    • $5 for 4” diameter.

    • $10 for 4.5”-8.5” diameter.

    • $25 for 8.75” diameter or greater.

    • Orchid Small $5.

    • Orchid Large $10.
