It has been a dream of mine for 5+ years to open a retail store centered around indoor plants, (aka houseplants) and all the wonderful things that inevitably accompany growing and caring for houseplants. I have found much solace and comfort tending to houseplants in my home~ more than once my partner observes I'm having a gloomy day and he'll say 'stop what you're doing right now and go play with your houseplants'. So I do, and it makes me feel better, tremendously. A sense of calm takes hold as I remove damaged leaves, freshen up the potting mix in a tired looking plant along with adding some organic fertilizer, or playing an exciting game of mix and match with a half dozen similar sized plants and decorative pottery.
My hope is to share with others that satisfaction, fulfillment of senses and beautiful simplicity that houseplants have brought me by way of Botany Houseplant Shop.
We want you to enjoy your experience in our shop each and every time you visit. We will happily converse with you about anything to do with houseplants, (or another subject altogether if that is the flow). If you would rather wander and admire in silence, we strive to provide a comfortable space for you to do that too. And if you have visited our shop before, you have probably heard us say we will drill a drainage hole into any new pot you purchase, and unless we are busy with other customers, we will pot up your new plant right then and there.
An intriguing lineup of botanical craft-making workshops as well as classes to develop & improve your plant-parenting skills. Check back regularly to see what's being offered.
